Maynooth, a city not so peaceful ...

Maynooth is a city of up than 10,800 inhabitants. We could think that nothing happend in this peacefull city,  but this year the residents finally have a topic exciting. Indeed, the queen Elizabeth II, tuesday, began an historic first visit in Ireland. It is the first movement of a British monarch since independence in 1922. Unfortunatly, and despite a very high surveillance ( dublin's street are yellow because of the number of gardas, a majority of street are bloked ...)  some  dissident republicans decided to trouble her visit. They settled an explosiv bomb the night before she was coming, in a bus at MAYNOOTH !

This bomb was desarmed, but it was really freacky because we discoverd that the next day, and it was the bus 69 that we took very often to come back from Dublin.. And the bomb was discoverd in the train station, only 300 meters from our House !!

Now, the Queen is still in ireland, and tensions seems to be appeased. Nevertheless, she provocs a lot of debate during irish people and we have to be very careful when we talk about that we them because it is a sensitive subject here.
